6 Days Trip – Sri Lanka

Arrival in Colombo International Airport and meet with our representative at the arrival lounge Transfer to Hotel.
For the relief of jet lag. In the afternoon, you will be taken a city tour of Colombo and A meal at Banana Leaf, the mouth watering Biryani maker in town.

Overnight: Colombo

After breakfast, enroute Galle go on a wonderful boat ride down the Madu River with its flourishing ecosystem.
Pass through the secretive passages created by the mangroves. See the basking crocodiles and water monitors.
Visit one of the small islands with its cinnamon harvesting natives. Enjoy the restorative qualities of the avian life fish massage. Observe the water birds in their natural habitats.
Next visit the Turtle Hatchery. The centre functions mainly as a hatchery and makes huge efforts to increase the rate of hatching, and survival of baby turtles in their very initial stages. However the Care centre also works on sick or injured adults; treating them and releasing them back into the ocean.

Overnight: Galle

After early breakfast we are heading to Mirissa, one of the best places in the world for whale watching, especially for the most famous largest marine mammal “Blue Whales”. Actually it takes only six to nine nautical miles from Mirissa harbor to reach whale habitats. During our journey to Blue whales we can see several other whale species, dolphins and other marine life also. Killer whales, Sperm whales, Bride whales and Pigmy killer whales are the different kind’s whales we can see.Spinner dolphins, Bottled nosed dolphins and Riso dolphins are the various dolphin types. Also Green back turtle, Whale shark, Flying fish and Tuna fish are other marine species can be seen in some days.
After lunch to Galle Dutch Fort – Approximately 40 minutes’ drive. Explore Dutch heritage in Galle by car and you will explore historical importance of Galle Fort. The ramparts, colonial buildings, clock tower, light house, museum & old church, mosque & Buddhist temple are covered in this guided tour.
Visit Natural Silk Factory in Gintota, that is the only silk store in Sri Lanka to have live demonstrations of the silk making process to visitors thereby making it a unique and an attractive visit for many tourists. This process recruits the performance of a particular worm that is the main feature in order to produce the fabric to weave
the materials that are used to make a range of products. En-route visit Shiva or Sri Meenadchi Sandaresvarar temple in Galle.
